Timex will continue to solidify its position within the fashion accessories category with the introduction of the company's first Fashion Trend Director and the introduction of a new fashion and style Web site for consumers, TimexStyle.com.

Style expert Amy E. Goodman lends a hand as the Timex Fashion Trend Director, the first in Timex's history. With a background as an editor and writer for nationally recognized magazines such as InStyle and Real Simple, and as a contributor to programs such as "TODAY" and "Good Morning America," Goodman brings years of experience in fashion editorial and trend tracking to Timex.

In her new role, Goodman will research fashion, style and accessory trends for the Timex Style brand team. She will also play a pivotal role in the launch of TimexStyle.com, providing consumers with fashion trend news and style advice via seasonal fashion trend reports, trend tips, videos and a blog.

"Timex is an iconic American brand. I am thrilled to be working with the company and assisting them in showcasing their fashion offerings," says Goodman.

"Timex already has a vast array of watches that are a stylish compliment to any outfit, and I am excited to help consumers rediscover the company's beautiful timepieces."

In addition to content created by Goodman, the Timex Style Web site will feature news from Timex and gift suggestions for occasions throughout the year.

"TimexStyle.com will be a great resource for consumers interested in learning more about what is happening in fashion and how it relates to their choice of timepiece," says Kristine Lumpinski, Vice President of Marketing for Timex. "We know that they will be impressed by the selection of on-trend watches we offer."

Later this summer, Timex will launch a variety of new collections, including Women's Crystal, Dress Sport and Elegant.

The women's Crystal collection is designed for the woman who wants a dash of glamour, shimmer and shine. Genuine Swarovski crystals make a statement on dials and bracelets and are the perfect antidote to the fall season's muted color palette.

Sport as fashion continues to be a strong trend in American sportswear. The women's Dress Sport collection plays off this enduring trend and features textured top rings and etched numbers on bezels, providing great dimension on the wrist.

Timex has also expanded its portfolio of dress timepieces with the extension of the women's Elegant collection. The simple and sleek design features a square case with a high polish finish. Dials are enhanced with depth and detail using textured sunray and mother-of-pearl finishes.

These new collections convey the brand's fashion relevance through modern design details, while still offering the accessible value that Timex is known for.

Through the style expertise of Amy Goodman and the launch of TimexStyle.com, Timex continues to increase visibility among female consumers.
