The Trend Seminar will run on Sunday and Monday at 12.00 noon at the Body Look Lounge where Elke Giese of the German Fashion Institute and trade journalist Martina Metzner will cover the body and beachwear trends for Spring/Summer 2009 under the heading “Start ordering with know how”.

Intimate Park:
Intimate Park has found its home as an island of inspiration amidst Body Look. Labels such as Joop, Princesse Tam-Tam, Dynamico, Diesel, Ginch Gonch, Wolwin, xtg and Schultz are grouped around the Lounge, which will be situated at the heart of Hall 9.

At the Lounge a book store and coffee shop will provide trade fair visitors with technical reading and contemporary catering.

Designer Pavilion:
Meeting with continued approval at Body Look is also the Designer Pavilion, now a traditional feature of the fair. This time the fresh collections of these largely unknown bodywear designers can be found right in the entrance area of Body Look.

New momentum and inspiration “unplugged” will come care of designers Adorisadora from Italy, Antonio Sangoó from Spain, Aqualexa and Britta Uschkamp from France, Der Kommissar and Yes Master from the Netherlands, Evaw-wave, Fishbelly and OKHA Homewear from Germany as well as Magdalena Buchalow from Poland. Programme of side events including Beach Area, live photo shoot and Award First Look for young designers

Body Look also has highlights in the pipeline for trade visitors in terms of supporting events. These include the Body Look Beach Area in Hall 9.

Sitting on sun loungers in the sand trade fair visitors can get into the mood for the focal exhibition theme – swimwear – and relax at the beach bar with cool drinks, ice cream and fruit.

Furthermore, the Beach Area will provide the backdrop for a live photo shoot starting at 11.00 am on Monday; visitors will be able to watch close up and look behind the scenes.

Another “must-see” event for the trade audience features on Monday: at the Marie Jo stand a VIP sportswoman will provide a live demo of the outstanding properties of the sports bra ”Marie Joe Intense” at a press reception.

Looking back on three years of existence is the young designers' award Linie First Look, organised by the Igedo Company in cooperation with trade magazine Linie International.

This time the sector will meet ahead of the Body Look party on Monday at the “Malkasten” venue to examine the young designers' creations – in tune with the beachwear theme in summer – and to elect the winners. Winners will be awarded a 1- year ad campaign in Linie International or a free stand at Body Look.

Following the Linie First Look award ceremony the traditional Body Look Party will be celebrated in a relaxed atmosphere at the “Malkasten” venue doubling as a key exchange platform.

At the Igedo Fashion Fairs Düsseldorf nearly 1,750 exhibitors and collections from 44 countries will be presented at the exhibition halls of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre and at the Düsseldorf Fashion House 1 + 2.
