Golf Town - Canada's largest golf retailer with unequaled selection and competitive prices at 39 locations coast to coast - has been selected as an approved retailer of the 2008 adidas by Stella McCartney Signature Collection of golf apparel, which is now available at the company's super centres in Laval (QC), Markham (ON), Richmond (BC) and Scarborough (ON).

The latest addition to Golf Town's robust range of high-end apparel brands, adidas by Stella McCartney is geared specifically toward the growing number of active, modern women taking up the game who want to look, feel and play their best. This inaugural golf collection from one of the world's most popular young designers offers a distinct fusion of performance and style.

"Canadian women are turning to the game with increasing frequency in the business arena and as a leisure activity," says Alex Yandryk, Golf Town's Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager - Softlines. "The Stella McCartney line is focused on leading-edge performance and style while remaining connected to the game's heritage. It's ideal for customers seeking luxurious, statement-making apparel they can wear on the course."

Highlighting soft stretch fabrics and tailored silhouettes, key pieces of the new collection include the elegant Rib Polo and Smock Top, Woven Short and lightweight Crop Jacket. Prices range from $69.95 to $224.95. According to the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA), participation rates among women golfers have steadily increased since 2001. This is especially true in Quebec, where women account for more than one in four golfers (27 percent).

Golf Town offers an unbeatable selection of clubs, bags, balls, apparel, footwear, accessories, gifts, logo merchandise, promotional services and more. This includes the world's leading golf brands, such as Adams, Bridgestone, Callaway Golf, Cleveland, Cobra, Dunning, ECCO, FootJoy, Founders Club, Gordon Cooper, Greg Norman, Honma, Hugo Boss, LaCoste, Liz Claiborne, LIJA, Mizuno, Nike Golf, Odyssey, Ogio, Paradise, Ping, Sun Mountain, TaylorMade adidas Golf, Titleist and Wilson.

Golf Town Canada's largest golf retailer, Golf Town was founded in 1999 and has grown from one location in Scarborough, ON, to 39 superstores coast to coast. At an average size of nearly 18,000 square feet, these retail centres feature all the major name-brand products at the best price, ensuring customers find what they want, when they want it.

Offering thousands of golf and lifestyle products, it is a one-stop-shop for companies to strengthen customer relationships, leverage sponsorships and reward employee performance. These are highlighted by a wide range of logo-ready products - such as accessories, apparel, appliances, electronics, equipment, home goods, jewelry, luggage and musical instruments.
