Louis Vuitton (LV), one of the leading fashion accessory manufacturers in the world, has agreed to pay a fine of 761,100 yuan, because some of their products in China did not meet standards of the country.

Recently, it was found that 3 styles of bags, namely M32488, M40121 and M51154 from LV violated Chinese industrial standards in a major way.

Company officials said that, this incident was deeply regretted and that they are taking aggressive measures to ensure that it is not repeated.

A special team has been set up in Paris to study and resolve this issue and provide guidelines that will help avoid such mistakes in future.

However, insiders said that only few consumers had returned the products and demanded compensation.
