Bulgari celebrates 10th anniversary of its first collection of eyewear

Bulgari presents an extraordinary special edition of optical frames and sunglasses to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its first collection of eyewear.
The source of inspiration this time is the new and original floral motif of High Jewelry.
Like exploding fireworks, a series of precious rhinestones expand outwards from the center across the temples, giving them a bright and unexpected brilliance.
The undisputed protagonist of this collection is color. Vivid, alluring, and transparent hues of red, lilac, and peach and nuances of more classic colors such as brown, beige, and black play on the frames.
The elliptical motif of Elisia is used alone on the metal temples or repeated over and over on the acetate temples, brightened by rhinestones of varying sizes in a captivating play of light.
The Parentesi motif, a true classic in the history of Bulgari design, is brightened with rhinestones on the slender acetate temples, imparting discrete and timeless elegance to the collection.
Light, spare frames and squared-off lenses characterize the men's collection, which was designed for men with strong personalities and self-assured elegance.
Here again, design plays with unusual juxtapositions: gold and silver for the metal frames contrast with a variety of colors embellished with mother of pearl or the nuances of varying striations.
The models featured in the new collection will be available through a select network of opticians worldwide starting from June 2008.
