Kids Fashion Week 2008, a Dubai Summer Surprises Signature Event, which concluded on July 9, is one of the most interesting and sought after shows in Dubai. Prominent global brands and designers gather here to showcase their stunning and stylish creations for the tiny tots.

Looking at the thriving children wear industry of UAE, this extravagant event has made a prominent place for itself among young fashion enthusiasts. Within these seven days eager spectators saw remarkable yet wearable designs for kids who prefer comfort over style.

The fashion week came to a successful end with two extremely talented Emarati designers Sumayya Al Hamadi and Hind Al Gazal displaying their colourful and attractive creations at Dubai Festival City. Both these designers received high appreciation for their commendable work.

The garments created by Sumayya and Hind had a mix of style and practicality. The wide range of apparels were made using bright and bold colours with attractive motifs and embellishments that added the extra zing in the collections.

Some of the internationally famous brands that displayed their clothing line included United Colors of Benetton, Kenzo Kids, Blumarine, Jacadi, Diesel Kids. With so many overseas brands displaying there latest offerings in Dubai, it has all the possibilities of becoming a fashion hub in near future.
