Sheila Marie, chief designer of premium clothing label Sheiki Jeans, confirmed that she will showcase her exclusive Fall '08 and Spring '09 lines at the prestigious Casa Casuarina (formerly the Versace Mansion).

Sheila Marie chose this iconic Miami location because of its esteemed history rooted in couture fashion. The invitation-only event will take place Friday, July 18, 2008.

Built in 1930 as homage to the oldest house in the Western Hemisphere, the Casa Casuarina has housed many famous artisans over the years.

Most notably was couturier Gianni Versace, who purchased the mansion in 1992 and restored and embellished the property to its current state of grandeur.

The mansion is currently owned by telecommunications magnate Peter Loftin, who has developed the Casa Casuarina as an invitation-only, private member's club.

Sheiki Jeans got its start in 2006 after Sheila Marie spent 9 months creating the perfect denim fit for her slender, yet curvy figure.

Shortly after launching her denim, demand was so high that she expanded her line to include tees, tanks, hoodies and thermals. Her newest lines will debut couture dresses and one-of-a-kind swimwear at the Casa Casuarina event.

Sheila Marie's distinctive fashions became an instant favorite among Hollywood celebrities. Tyra Banks wore each of Sheiki's original 4 denim styles on her Tyra Banks show, and has since been a loyal fan of the Sheiki brand.

In addition, celebrities well known for their curves, including Kim Kardashian, Ashanti and Audrina Partridge have been seen in Sheiki both on the red carpet and in their daily lives.

Well known in the industry for her expertise and exclusive contacts, Sheila Marie has consulted on several celebrity clothing lines, including Kendra Wilkinson of The Girls Next Door, Jenna Jameson, and Vida Guerra.

"I've had the rare opportunity to build a successful fashion business literally from the ground up," said Sheila Marie.

"That experience has been invaluable and has allowed me to help others who want to create fashion but aren't sure how or where to begin.

I gather inspiration and creativity from a wide variety of experiences, and I love to use those ideas when working with others to help them find their own unique vision."

In an effort to help others achieve success through art and design, Sheila Marie founded DesignByKids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging art students in inner city schools by allowing them to create designs for Sheiki branded clothing, and giving profits back to participating schools' art departments.

"DesignByKids is the perfect way to give back to the next generation of fashion designers and artists around the world," said Sheila Marie.

"Every time I see a child's innovative design, I am reminded of how much talent exists in this young generation and how important it is to invest our time and resources into helping them realize their full artistic potential."

DesignByKids recently worked with Denver Public Schools in Denver, Colorado and will include winners from that contest in the new fall Sheiki line.
