DSW Shoes opens store in Concord, North Carolina

DSW, a leading branded footwear specialty retailer, is pleased to announce the opening of a new store in Concord, North Carolina on July 31, 2008.

The store will be the 2nd DSW location in the Charlotte area. The 14,000 square foot store will offer hundreds of brands for women and men at great prices.

The location features hardwood floors, brick walls, and accent walls marked with DSW signature phrases. Additional interior accents include modern fixtures, sleek merchandise displays and comfortable seating. All these elements combine to create a remarkable shopping experience.

DSW is for the passionate shoe enthusiast and indulges customers who love to shop. The DSW self-service format allows customers to try on over 2,000 styles of designer dress, casual and athletic shoes.

Customers are also invited to join the award-winning DSW Rewards program and receive certificates toward future DSW purchases, while taking advantage of member-only offers and events.

As one of the nation's fastest growing specialty retailers, DSW is continuously opening new stores across the country. In 2007, DSW opened 37 stores in strategic markets. DSW plans to open at least 30 stores in 2008 and, so far, has opened 16 stores. Additionally, DSW recently launched DSW.com in response to customers' requests to shop 24 hours, 7 days a week.
