STARTER & DANSKIN to re-launch in Wal-Mart doors

Iconix Brand Group Inc announced that it has signed direct-to-retail license agreements with Wal-Mart Stores Inc, for the Company's STARTER and DANSKIN NOW brands.
STARTER, currently distributed at Wal-Mart, will have an expanded re-launch in Wal-Mart doors for spring of 2009. The launch will be supported with a national advertising campaign featuring a high profile athlete and include television, print, online and radio advertising and a public relations campaign.
DANSKIN NOW will also re-launch in Wal-Mart doors in 2009 with a special product program surrounding January Fitness Month.
Neil Cole, Chairman and CEO of Iconix stated, "We are pleased about these new license agreements as they position STARTER and DANSKIN NOW for long-term growth and align them with the successful business model that we have created with our OP brand at Wal-Mart."
