Bata Industrials is growing on all fronts. Not only is the producer of high quality safety shoes capturing an increasingly more prominent position in the existing European markets, but also tapping into and cultivating new sales regions has clearly become a priority within the company.

A priority that is accompanied by a careful selection of distributors in these markets. One that will be followed up appropriately via the company's participation in various trade exhibitions throughout Europe.

Bata Industrials is growing in Europe at a rapid pace. Harm Daems, General Manager of Bata Industrials and also President of the Bata Branded Business Group explains, “During the first five months of this year, we experienced an amazing growth spurt.

First of all, through the introduction of various new products within our existing sales markets. Along these lines, one of the examples I can name is the recent launch of several Traxx models with the revolutionary Boa lacing system.

However, we are also gaining an increasingly firmer footing outside of these work areas with existing products. Compared with a year ago, we are now active in seven new countries. Excellent results!”

Distribution Network:
The advances being made within the new sales areas and the promotion of the Bata name is accompanied by an intensive collaboration between Bata Industrials and several qualified dealers and distributors.

Each and every one of them experienced and extremely familiar with the local market conditions. Thanks to these partnerships, in cultivating the markets in Central and Eastern Europe, Bata Industrials is now able to count on the efforts of companies such as Korczak (Poland), Canis Safety (Czech Republic) and Rempo (Slovakia).

In other (European) regions, Bata Industrials can also rest assured that it has a reputable dealer network in place. For example, the introduction of the Bata Industrials' brand in Spain, Ireland and Israel is being handled by, respectively, Morandelli, Advanced Safety and Laoved.

Solid Support:
In addition to the efforts to expand Bata Industrials' presence on the European map, which started with the selection of the parties mentioned above, the company also provides active and intensive support to existing as well as new distributors in the form of participation in various trade exhibitions.

In the months of April and May, Bata Industrials participated independently and with its own stand at some four exhibitions in the Netherlands (Safety & Fashion @ Work), Poland (SAWO), Czech Republic (Interprotec) and Sweden (Elmia Working Environment).

During that same period, the company put in an appearance at similar events in the Netherlands (Construction & Shipping Industry exhibition), Spain (Construlan Exhibition) and England (Home Office Development Branch Exhibition).

During its participation at these three exhibitions, Bata Industrials always had a key location at the stand of its distribution partner active in that particular country.
