Sloggi hunts for bums - You have it, flaunt it

Triumph International, one of the world's largest lingerie and undergarment manufacturers enjoying a presence in over 120 countries with its core brands Triumph®, sloggi®, Valisère® and HOM® is once again on a hunt for best bottoms for its second edition of “Show me your sloggi” (smys) campaign.

The international specialist starts its 2008 campaign to find the world's most beautiful male and female bottom with a completely new style of online event. With this concept, the sloggi brand is breaking new ground. It is all about a first format in which the user can actively participate in the process of a photo shooting being shown live, via the internet.

Participants from 31 countries and regions can once again show where in the world the underwear particularly sits best. Absolute one-off: An interactive live photo shoot with a 'Show me your sloggi' (smys) 2007 winner and a current favorite for this year's campaign on the Internet to get the competition underway.

In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Ms Jana Jabusch from Triumph International, Germany, asserted, “Just how enthralled young male and female users from around the world are to bring the all too neglected bottom from out of its shadowy existence can be proved by the response to the 2007 competition. Over six million unique visitors uploaded and placed 30,000 pictures for voting – 37 million votes were cast that short listed two winners from Romania and Bulgaria.”

Just like last year, winners from the respective countries will be determined by national selection procedures. After their conclusion – and with the national title of 'Best bum' in their back pocket – the winners will travel to Paris in November 2008 to take part in the international smys final.

Whoever convinces the prominent jury that their bottom is genuinely world class can look forward to a modeling contract for the sloggi campaign shoot and pocket prize money of 15,000 euros as well as exclusive insurance cover for their precious backside.
