New CFO for Hennes & Mauritz as of November

Jyrki Tervonen has been with H&M since 1997, his recent position being country manager for Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Additionally Jyrki has been CFO for Finland.
Leif Persson will continue to act as a member of the Executive Management Team and will from November be working with strategic company matters.

H&M is quoted on the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm. Today there are around 1,600 H&M stores in 29 countries. H&M has 68,000 employees and achieved sales including VAT in 2007 of SEK 92,123 million.
