Nolcha to host NY Profile with A 360° Program

Now in it's second year, Nolcha will bring together American and international emerging designers in the big apple for Nolcha Fashion Week (NFW) on September 8th – 12th.

NFW, which also presents in the UK, is where fashion ideas begin; where global talents flourish; and where prosperous brands are born. Designers have quickly recognized the power of Nolcha and the growth of the program has been rapid.

Its first presentation in New York last year, showcased 22 designers, and the roster for the upcoming event has more than doubled, with 54 men's and women's emerging designer and accessories brands participating.

Nolcha's upcoming New York event will be presented at the Prince George Ballroom located on East 27th, and will include runway shows, tastemaker networking events, and business building seminars led by industry experts, special guests, and leading entrepreneurs.

Nolcha supports and promotes international fashion on the runway, via seminars, trade networking, and roundtable discussion programs.

Select designers present their collections to industry figures ranging from top buyers and editors from around the globe.

Each designer is carefully chosen from a panel of judges who select those with the most distinctive point of view, sales potential and are equipped with the infrastructure that will guarantee timely deliveries to retailers, a critical element that allows oversees and independent designers to penetrate the New York market with greater success.

Featured designers include: LanVy, Moss Universe, Carolina Brasil, Royal Sunday, Celestino by Sergio Guadarrama, plus others.

“Some of our designers have never shown in NYC before. Our guests are in for an eye opening experience. This is why I created Nolcha—to expose the industry to ground breaking designers, and to expose the designers to the New York fashion scene,” says Nolcha CEO, Kerry Bannigan.

During the course of the week, Nolcha will host NY Profile, a group presentation showcasing 35 of the most captivating designers on the British fashion front.

This event is strategically held in NYC during a peak industry market time to guarantee maximum designer visibility.

After only 2 presentations, prestigious corporate partners and organizations have recognized the great service Nolcha is providing the future of the design community and have quickly jumped on board to support the program.

Such marquee partners include: Coca-Cola, Paul Mitchell, DEX, and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. These endorsements continue to give Nolcha greater momentum and distinction in a global market saturated with dozens of fashion weeks, and has mobilized the emerging design community together under one roof, providing market visibility in an uber competitive economic climate.
