Perth Fashion Festival gears up for a grand gala

This year the Perth Fashion Festival will celebrate a 'decade of fashion' with an innovative and stylish line-up of events, proving its worth as Western Australia's premier fashion gala.

The Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary from 4-12 September 2008 with over 35 events. Popular Indian socialite Radhika Oswal will also hit the runway on September 6 for the Telethon Celebrity Parade, joining a host of other local celebrities including ex-boxer Danny Green, TV host Zoe Naylor, Channel 7 newsreader Rick Ardon and reporters Alison Fan and Emmy Kubainski at the Perth Town Hall.

Sources informed Fibre2fashion that for the ocassion, Kubainski will wear an amethyst and diamond necklace from Koro Fine Australian Jewellers which together with other outfits and accessories will be auctioned on the night, with all funds raised donated to Telethon. Besides, on the evening, a trip for two to Cable Beach Club Resort will also be up for auction.

Over 500 party-hunters are expected to attend the awards and moreover, the guest with the most outstanding dress will be brought in to the lime light and photographed by Sunday Times photographers.

The five best-dressed guests will be selected by a panel of judges who will then walk the runway and the winner will be decided from amongst one of them.
