Available 365 Days a Year: The GDS Internet Package Online Services An interactive service allows you to optimise preparation ahead of your visit to the fair.

The Exhibitor and Product Database with its convenient search functions offers detailed and comprehensive information on the exhibiting firms.

The interactive hall layout plan makes finding your way around the exhibition centre easy. New mobile services and the PDA-Special service allow visitors with an Internet-capable mobile phone, iPhone or PDA to call up basic information, the exhibitor database, the map of the exhibition centre as well as other information from the new domain.

Using the MyCatalog feature with its convenient administration of data and settings visitors can put together their own personalised trade fair catalogue.

Targeted, individually selected information on exhibiting companies, collections, their location at the exhibition centre as well as the names of contact people can easily be stored and updated at any time.

Using GDS-TV interested users can watch interviews and background reports as VoD casts (Video on Demand Clips) around the clock.

Registered trade visitors and exhibitors receive the most important information in the Newsletter including the latest key news on the fair presented in competent and compact form.

A pool of information on developments in the shoe and leather wear market, trend overviews and information on events accompanying the fair, events and shows complement the numerous interactive features on offer.

The GDS homepage with links to some 250 international trade journals offers interested users the chance to gather information on sector- specific themes around the clock.

From Regional to International: Culinary Delights on Offer
The international flair of the fair is also reflected in the varied culinary delights offered at the Düsseldorf exhibition centre.

The numerous restaurants, snack bars and refreshment points offer culinary delights for all tastes. The gastronomy guide featured as a part of the trade fair catalogue shows you all places to eat and drink at a glance.

The forthcoming GDS will be held at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 September 2008. GLOBAL SHOES will run for the first time now one day out of sync with GDS from 11 to 13 September 2008.

A total of 1,269 exhibitors from 40 countries (current as of 21/08/2008) will be presenting their new shoe and bag collections for Spring/Summer 2009 and trends for the current season.
