Mr Jennings to work with Saks Fifth Men's Fashion

Saks Fifth Avenue announced the appointment of Eric Jennings to the position of Vice President, Fashion Director, Men's, Home, Food & Gifts. Mr. Jennings will report to Terron Schaefer, Group Senior Vice President, Marketing, Saks Fifth Avenue.
"I am delighted to have Eric join the Saks Fifth Avenue team. His creativity, knowledge of fashion and trends, and business savvy are assets that made him perfect for this position.
I am already excited to incorporate some of his ideas into our upcoming creative and know that he will be a keystone force in supporting the merchant team," said Schaefer.
In this role, Mr. Jennings will be responsible for forecasting seasonal trends and working with the merchant and marketing teams on Men's fashion and accessories and Home and Gifts. He will start his new position on September 8.
"I am thrilled to have this amazing opportunity to work for the premier retailer in the US on men's fashion, home and gifts. I have always had a strong affinity for the Saks Fifth Avenue brand.
Growing up in Northern California I still remember the excitement I felt over my first purchase at the Saks San Francisco store.
This position allows me to draw on my creative, merchandising and sales experience to work at a national level across multiple price points, vendors and styles," said Jennings.
"Eric's strong sales background will be a key asset to working strategically with my buying team. I have always enjoyed working with him in the vendor community and respect his opinions on men's style and his taste in home furnishings. We are all eager for him to start," said Thomas Ott, SVP GMM Men's, Home, Food & Gifts.
In his previous position, Mr. Jennings served as Brand Director of Hickey Freeman's hickey collection, reporting into the group president.
In this role, he was responsible for the strategic sales and marketing direction for the brand and worked closely with design and merchandising.
Prior to working at hickey, he held a number of positions for Hugo Boss Fashions Inc He also worked for Giorgio Armani Fashion Corp, and Nordstrom Inc.
