Stahl's new booklet presenting the Leather & Technology Forecast for Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 shows some of the best ideas that have been presented so far.
Most of the formulations used for creating the finishes shown on the leathers have used fewer products and simpler procedures than in the past, keeping in mind potentially smaller product inventories for storage in the tanneries. From the point of view of the tanner this approach means that the effects shown have a strong commercial attraction.
Another advantage is that the formulations are much easier to translate into local versions suited to the different leather producing regions of the world. Stahl local technicians will be able to help customers by providing details that are relevant to their area.
This issue has adopted an even more pictorial approach than in earlier issues. The lavishly illustrated edition display pictures relating directly to the leather samples prepared from the latest collection.
They illustrate the various effects that are predicted for each of the six groups, Assuring Heritage, Unexpected Poetry, Ambitious Sobriety, Being the Fabulous, Artisan Richness and Warrior Temple.
