A range of formal, semi-formal, casual and eastern bridal wear by ErMah was displayed at Khiva Art Gallery (KAG) on August 29.

The two day exhibition concluded on Saturday but received rave reviews from visitors. The collection was designed by Erum and Mariah, students of Iqra University under the brand name ErMah.

Intricate embellishment of thread, bead, needle and stonework on a variety of plain, fancy and printed dresses, reflected a perfect synthesis of eastern and western fashion.

While all the designs were exclusive and unique, unstitched suits of various shades and materials were also put up for display. Most of the designs had beads, pearls and sequence work on different fabrics which beautified the collection even more.

ErMah offered a spectacular mix of fashion and accessories that ranged from the classic to the quirky. Be it casual, evening, party wears or even bridal wears, the brand had it all. An exciting blend of hues, glitters and styles is what made the collection appear different from the usual fashion trends.

Besides, the designer duo made a generous use of both heavy and light fabrics like silk, crepe, raw silk, cotton, chiffon, satins, georgette, organza, net, crushed fabric, banarasi, atlas, jamawar and velvet.

Well suited for the sophisticated and stylish women of Pakistan, the dresses were not only glamorous but had a fine quality which was evident from the finesse of the work done and the material used.
