Albisetti to create Jil Sander innerwear & beachwear line

The Jil Sander Group announced a strategic licensing alliance with Albisetti S.p.A. to create Jil Sander men's and women's underwear and beachwear collection. The first underwear collection will hit the market in Fall 2009 and the beachwear in spring 2010.
The agreement will give Albisetti, one of the world's most prominent lingerie companies, the exclusive global license to design, manufacture and distribute both the underwear and beachwear collections for JIL SANDER.
“Jil Sander is a brand that has the aesthetic competence to create a total look, I am looking forward to completing my vision for Jil Sander with an innovative underwear and beachwear line, which defines a fresh body conscious feeling”, states Raf Simons, Creative Director at Jil Sander.

The new collection is being developed in collaboration with Raf Simons, Creative Director of Jil Sander. The design and palette will reflect the sophisticated and luxurious world of the JIL SANDER brand incorporating finest materials, Innovation by its high tech approach and distinctive within is body consciousness. The underwear collection will debut at retail in September 2009 and the beachwear collection in February 2010.
Both collections will be sold worldwide in Jil Sander stores, select department stores and specialty stores.

Albisetti boasts many years of experience with the most prestigious fashion houses, including Roberto Cavalli, John Galliano, Burberry, Chloè, Vivienne Westwood, Guess, Bikkembergs, Liu Jo, Pucci, Balenciaga with collections of underwear, beachwear, for men and women, leisure wear and accessories.
