Opulent JFW commences in Tokyo

Japan Fashion Week (JFW) 2009 Spring/Summer Collection has commenced yesterday in a grand and glamorous way in central Tokyo. The seventh edition of this event will continue to give designers chance to showcase their stunning creations till September 7.
More than 37 renowned brands are taking part in this opulent show, to bring to the fashionistas of Tokyo, the latest trends for the S/S season. The Japanese labels are taking this opportunity to make the world aware the changing face of fashion in the country.
Along with various shows that are aimed to mesmerize the visitors, a joint and exclusive 'JFW Designers Exhibition' will also take place from September 9 to 11 at Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium.
With so many fashion weeks taking place round the year in different parts of the world, JFW has slowly but surely gained the attention of international fashion experts. The people from the fraternity are hopeful that with so much talent present, Japanese designers are bound to take the country one step ahead.
