The Caulfield Spring Racing season it not just about horses winning the race, but also about spectators making most stylish and glamorous fashion statements off-track in order to gain attention. The grand opening of this much awaited event was also done in an opulent way yesterday, in Melbourne.

The Luxe Collective show at the Melbourne Town Hall, showcased some of the most amazing creations that are anticipated to dominate this spring season.

The designers who have entered the new Caulfield Classic Style Award, displayed their amazing garments. The collections were made keeping the high profile fashionistas in mind, who flaunt stunning outfits at the race-course.

Tantalizing tea dresses in floral prints made using fabrics like georgette, sexy skirts and beautifully crafted jackets, in bold and bright shades by Perri Cutten, were highly appreciated by the fashion savvies.

Renowned men's brand Genae also presented their exclusive range of garments, that included sophisticated single breasted two buttoned suits and chic trilby, to complete the gentleman's look. Jacqui Demkiw of White Suede, a Melbourne based brand, introduced its latest range of swimwear as well as elegant silk afternoon dresses, which received high applauds from the audience.

For 11 years Melbourne was trying to connect Spring Fashion Week with the city's racing carnival, and with the passage of time the efforts have paid off well.
