Fashion savvy city welcomes Royal Classic Group

Royal Classic Group (RCG), the Indian textiles and garment major which revolutionized the country's male fashion scenario with its signature style Classic Polo T-shirts, has made a direct foray into the global market. RCG hurled its first exclusive international showroom at the fashion savvy Singapore City on the auspicious August 15, with plans to showcase the Indian brand by weaving 20 more stores across Singapore.

The Singapore outlet -- set in the archetypical 2300 sqft area on Little India's Serangoon Road -- showcases special products like premium mercerized T-shirts, exclusive Golf T-shirts and modal enriched T-shirts to cater to the fashion needs of Singapore apart from the core range of shirts, trousers, cargos, denim, jackets, and the brand's premium men's innerwear ,Smash. The products are retailed at a comfortable price range of 29-69 $ bracket which is sure to appease the fashion conscious Singapore populace.

Singapore's international Classic Polo outlet has rolled out an innovative promotional scheme to solicit target customers by offering free customized print of their favorite text or visual on the plain tee purchased, in just five minutes of the purchase. An exclusive Classic Polo loyalty program has been initiated by introducing classic gold and silver cards to develop a dedicated base for the brand to facilitate a better relationship with the prospects.

“The proposed 20 stores in Singapore will be launched in the next 12 months, besides entering into large format stores in the next few months as a natural extension with specialized products. Our estimates peg a turnover of Rs 10 crore this year and a good 10 per cent of the same would be earmarked for the brand promotional activity,” RCG Executive Director R. Sivaram said.

“The initial response clearly overwhelming and indicative of the fact that market exists for value for money brands, which is our success mantra not only in India but also in Singapore.

The early market reaction has given us a lot of market insight which is a true experience and thereby replicate the best relevant international trend in the home ground to originate the competitive edge. Also, the global imprint of RCG will be a great way for the brand to grow and reach the optimistic turnover of 100 crores this fiscal," the Executive Director added.
