Skin Cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than one million skin cancers are diagnosed annually.

One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime. Clothes can protect your skin against the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays!

View the designs of swimwear clothing I have created using UPF 50+ fabric from Australia. (UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiations is absorbed.)

A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through, providing necessary sun protection. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly, because only 2 percent of the sun UV rays will get through.

You can feel secure while wearing these pieces in the sun while swimming, sailing, and beachcombing as each batch of fabric is tested under license from ARPANSA, the Australian Government's Radiation Portection & Nuclear Safety Authority.
