100% Design Tokyo will be held for the fourth time in 2008 from October 30 to November 3, 2008. Enormous tents will be built exclusively for this exhibition in Jingu Gaien. There will be three giant tents this year for the exhibition.

100% Design Tokyo is categorized precisely to meet the target and motive of each exhibitors and we are introducing 100% Material & Detail which have been longed for by architects and designers, in 2007, 85,298 visited 100% Design Tokyo.

100% Design offers business encounters and chances to design related professionals and expected to receive 100,000 visitors in 2008. 100% Design Tokyo a registered event of UK –Japan 2008 celebrates business relationship between UK and Japan.

For 2008, 100% Design Tokyo will have more categories to clarify each exhibitor's motive and business target.

100% Design Tokyo: An exhibition category for interior product manufactures and home product design manufactures.
100% Material & Detail: A new exhibition category for housing related manufacturers and dealers.
100% Light: An exhibition category for illumination manufactures and designers.
100% Lights: Various type of illumination will be gathered.
100% Designer: Designers with distributional items can negotiate with buyers, retailers, constructers, etc around world
100% Prototype: This category for freelance designers an opportunity to meet with manufactures, in-house designers to present their new ideas.
100% Shop: An exhibition category where shops, companies, and designers can use for promotion and on-site sales of designed goods.
100% Promotion: An exhibition category for presentation of a new collection, sampling to visitors.
100% Professional: A special category of designers recommended by the professional exhibition exclusive committee.
100% from ZERO EXHIBITION: This category consists of designers who have previously exhibited in "ZERO EXHIBITION" in Akasaka.
One day event: An event of one day duration available for promotion, parties and other special events to invite important guests

CONTAINERGROUND:
The Container Exhibition has been a popular venue of the Tokyo Designer's Week since 2003. The containers are transformed into extraordinary exhibition spaces for brands, studios, embassies, and schools to promote their activities in a massive open-air design event right in the heart of Tokyo.

Since its inception, the Container Exhibition has earned worldwide recognition and has inspired similar events in overseas. Containers are yours to design as pleased with unique lighting, sound, visuals, or even scents. The container with interesting design will certainly grab the attention of great visitors

This year, the established student exhibition in TWD will evolve into a collaboration project exhibition with the industry sector. It is not only student exhibitions like past years, nor will it be an ordinary company and school collaboration project but it will be an exhibition consists of two types of presentation.
