Top celebrities grace ‘Diamond Fashion Show’ preview

The Diamond Information Center and Instyle hosted the 8th annual awards season diamond fashion show preview at the Beverly Hills Hotel – Rodeo Ballroom on Thursday, January 8, 2009. The worlds leading celebrities, stylists and Hollywood elite graced the unveiling of $45 million of the world’s most exquisite diamond jewelry by leading designers.

Among those who came were, the Diamond Information Center Director Sally Morrison, Insyle Managing Editor Ariel Foxman, InStyle Fashion Director Hal Rubenstein, along with Golden Globes nominee Debra Messing (“The Starter Wife”), Taraji P. Henson (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”), Maria Bello, Rumer Willis (2009 Miss Golden Globes).

The others who graced the occasion were Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Andrea Bowen, Sarah Clarke, Lisa Edelstein, Ashley Greene, Rachelle Lefevre, Sarah Jane Morris, Emily Van Camp, Adrianne Palicki, Freida Pinto (“Slumdog Millionaire”), Olivia Wilde, Lisa Rinna, Natalie Zea, Constance Zimmer, and others.

The Diamond Information Center and InStyle hosted a red carpet ready luncheon and fashion show to celebrate the kick-off to the 2009 awards season. The event featured more than $45 million worth of diamond jewelry, styled by InStyle’s fashion director Hal Rubenstein and designed by leading diamond jewelers. Guests celebrated a return to the classics as sparkling diamonds paired with the season’s most breathtaking gowns graced the runway.

The show featured more than 30 of the world’s renowned red carpet diamond jewelers, such as Bulgari, Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Cartier, Chanel Fine Jewelry, Damiani, David Yurman, DeBeers, Diamond in the Rough, Di Modolo, Erica Courtney, Fragments, Fred Leighton, Gilan, Graff, H. Stern, Harry Winston, Irhit, Ivanka Trump, Jacob & Co., Kwiat, Lorraine Schwartz, Martin Katz, Mauboussin, Munnu/The Gem Palace, Neil Lane, Penny Preville, Platt, Stephen Russell, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, among others.
