Designers from across Europe to partake at Lviv Fashion Week

The upcoming event Lviv Fashion Week will take place in April 2-5, 2009 in Lviv, Ukraine, in the “LEMBERG” Exhibition Centre at 176, B.Khmelnytskogo str.

Lviv Fashion Week is an international fashion-project, mostly aimed at participants from Eastern and Southern European countries. To show collections on Lviv Fashion Week are invited, well-known and new-to-the-scene designers from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine.

The aim of the project Lviv Fashion Week is to present Lviv as a fashion centre in East European region. The main idea is to support new talented designers and to provide them the opportunity to create and develop their personal brands. Among the guests of Lviv Fashion Week are designers and buyers, representatives of business and profile MASS-MEDIA, editors of fashion magazines.

Lviv Fashion Week is organized twice a year in spring and in autumn following the standards of great world fashion centres. Organizers offer a high-quality ground for fashionable defiles and runway shows. Fashion shows are accompanied by art, photo and jewellery exhibitions. 2-5 of April 2009 Ukrainian and European designers will present collections “autumn/winter 2009-2010” at Lviv Fashion Week.
