Allison Parris, LLC has announced that the Allison Parris debut collection for the Fall of 2009 will be shown at Greenhouse, at 150 Varick Street, on February 17th at 11:00 am.

“We are excited to have selected a location that is so naturally consistent with the emphasis of the Allison Parris line on high style combined with eco-friendly practices,” said Allison Parris, the collection's namesake designer. “The Greenhouse's emphasis on top-tier luxury achieved at minimal environmental impact is a perfect match for the Allison Parris show.”

ABOUT ALLISON PARRIS:
The Allison Parris collection was founded by designer Allison Parris and business partner Marissa Kim. Their debut collection is a feminine and sophisticated line that combines luxurious fabrics, contrasting textures and vintage-inspired detail. Representing the founders' commitment to eco-responsibility, the line uses sustainable, organic and/or repurposed fabrics without sacrificing style.

Ms. Parris' inspiration for the colors, textures and beading in her debut collection stems from the warm and comfortable aesthetic of classic American country home interiors, with their tapestry patterns, vintage hardware and repurposed materials.

Ms. Parris began her professional training in design, pattern-making and sewing during her teenage years and was designing evening gowns for clients throughout the Detroit area before she graduated from high school. Prior to launching her collection, the Fashion Institute of Technology alumna designed custom gowns for clients in New York and beyond.

ABOUT GREENHOUSE:
Greenhouse, located at 150 Varick Street (between Spring and Vandam) in Soho, is New York City's first LEED-certified, eco-friendly nightclub and event space. The venue is powered by 100% renewable energy and features design innovations that reduce its environmental impact in terms of energy and water use.
