We are pleased to inform you that the February 09 edition of CPH Vision & Terminal-2 was a big success.

As we close CPH Vision & Terminal-2 we are happy to receive an overall positive response and an overwhelmingly optimistic reception of our new terminal and re-launch.

The re-launch of CPH Vision and Terminal-2 is the result of intense preparations, planning and coordination, but above all it's a result of a wholeheartedly dedication and a strong determination to boost and restructure the organisation and give the different directions at the fair a clear segmentation and new approach.

Highlights from the fair include the grand opening of Terminal-2, the newly re-launched CPH Vision area in Øksnehallen, the Press Show with more than 400 international and Danish press and the Designers' Nest Show & Award, visited by H.R.H Crown Princess Mary. Penther/Formes, Royal Copenhagen and Heineken were new sponsors appointed and new media guests such as Rodeo, Ozon, L'Uomo Vogue, Soundvenue and WWD were present in CPH Vision and Terminal-2.

Between the 5th-8th February 2009, 24,357 fashion professionals visited the fairs CPH Vision & Terminal-2, out of which 13 045 visited CPH Vision and 11 312 visited Terminal-2.

CPH Vision holds an area of 5000m2 and hosts 185 exhibitors, whilst Terminal-2 holds an area of 9000 m2 with a total of 142exhibitors.

Due to the current financial situation there was an expected decrease in visitors compared to February 2008 (16 %), but a boost in purchase orders and sales and the fairs were visited by Danish and international key clients and journalists.

"Although we could sense a great deal of apprehension from our exhibitors prior to the fair, the feedback we received have been very positive. It almost seamed as if the financial worries were left outside the reception doors. As we expected there was a decrease in the number of visitors, but several of our exhibitors report of increasing sales figures. Overall we are very happy with the result, and look forward to evaluate with our exhibitors." Peter Fenger Selchau, CEO

Presenting endless possibilities, the expansion of CPH Vision is yet another step to help strengthening Copenhagen's position as an international fashion capital, positioning the newly re-launched fairs as two of the most significant fashion appointments in Europe.
