GDS Concept Fine Tuned Again After the successful debut of the new hall and segment layout in September last year the GDS Team has fine-tuned the exhibition concept even further over the past few months adapting to exhibitors' and visitors' needs. Nearly all segments post on-par results this season.

The exclusive high-fashion forum “white cubes” is still fully booked and has a waiting list. Brands such as Annette Görtz, Maliparmi, Pollini, Robert Clergerie, Vic oder Voile Blanche will be presenting their topical collections here.

The 10th edition of “design attack” will be staged in its familiar unconventional format. This platform for design newcomers with “in“ lifestyle collections will portray London as a high-society ski resort in the Alps under the heading Queen Alpin. This eccentric combination pays tribute to global youth culture blending the latest winter trends in a mountain-scape with the skyline of the British capital.

The forthcoming GDS – International Event for Shoes & Accessories – and GLOBAL SHOES – leading trade show for sourcing – will be held from 13 to 15 March 2009 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. Altogether 1,110 exhibitors from 38 countries (correct as of: 11/02/2009) will be presenting the latest shoe and bag styles here. At GDS 1,870 collections will be on display for Autumn/Winter 2009/10 plus trends for the current season.
