Marco Bicego the world renowned Italian jewellery house unveils its marvelous Jaipur Legend collection offering an array of necklaces, bracelets, drop earrings and rings.

Combining the timeless glow of yellow gold with the mysterious sparkle of exotic, multicolored gem stones such as amethyst, lemon citrine, yellow quartz, blue topaz, rose and green tourmaline, green amethyst and champagne quartz, the Jaipur collection reiterates Bicego's status as one of the most highly revered jewellery designers of our time that has seen his creations often spotted on well known celebrities, such as US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Marco Bicego's designs have a nonchalant, casual charm that makes them highly wearable for all occasions. This time he designs jewels celebrating the beauty of Jaipur and its legendary stone cutting technique, acknowledged world over for the unique way in which it enhances the beauty of each stone.

Their beauty is perfectly matched by the famous handchiselled, organic and wonderfully natural look of Bicego's gold settings. Both these come together to offer a timeless collection that aptly takes the name of one of India's historic cities,” said Mr. Tawhid Abdullah,
Managing Director, Damas Jewellery.

Gentle, delicate, refined and exotic are all terms that come to mind while viewing Marco Bicego's new Jaipur Legend collection, where 'rigidity' would indeed be an alien term. In each of its creations, the warm, eternal glow of yellow gold is enhanced and matched by the mysterious sparkle emanating from the depths of each multi-hued gemstone, each of which is facetted in the prism cut and is produced exclusively for the Italian brand.

The round shapes of each perfectly facetted stone is then lovingly encircled by the chiseled yellow gold settings and thereafter 'threaded' together carefully in unique colour combinations. These stones are casually interspersed by Bicego's famous hand chiseled gold beads to present charming and flowing jewellery creations such as neck-laces, bracelets, charms, drop earrings and rings.

Particularly enchanting are Jaipur's necklaces where two arches string together an exotic merchandise of gemstones. Its drop earrings see the designer 'bead' three stones together in unique colour combinations or at times just one stunning stone in 'pendulum fashion' both of which are great glamour options for the fashionista.

The charm bracelets are sure to be a hit with the young at heart for their piquant elegance. Whereas each ring is designed to display the beauty of each perfectly cut stone to flattering effect. The clasps too are designed to integrate with the beauty of each jewel in the Jaipur collection.

Known as the “Pink City of India” for its unique architecture of its pink sandstone buildings and monuments, Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan and was founded in 1727. It was much sought after since ancient times for its famous stone-cutting techniques and jewellery designs. The remarkable quality of these stones in Bicego's Jaipur collection is that they do not steal its wearer's limelight but are de-signed to celebrate her beauty.

Marvel at and select from Marco Bicego's Jaipur Legend collection now available at Damas boutiques.
