'Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week' platform for aspiring models

One of the highlight events of this year's Gold Coast Fashion Week will be the 'Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week' competition.

The competition provides the platform where upand-coming and aspiring models from all over the country have the opportunity to gain international exposure as well as a host of prizes, and of course the title of “Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week”

With so much international exposure from the Gold Coast Fashion Week 2007 event and our winner, “Maddison Gabriel” going on to be signed with international model agency Elite Model Management of New York, this years event is greatly anticipated by both models and model agencies.

Applications will be collected over the next few months and will be narrowed to 12 "Official Gold Coast Fashion Week Models" for this year's event with the winner being announced at the start of Gold Coast Fashion Week 2009 on the 13th of May. Judges for the event will include; model and Division Model Management owner Kirsten Mitchell, Gold Coast Panache Magazine's Jenni Purdy as well as a few other high profile fashion celebrities.

The winner will receive prizes including:
· A 12-month modelling contract with Division Model Management.
· Professional photo portfolio and industry training.
· One month photo-spread on the Official GCFW Swimwear Calender.
· Editorial fashion feature in Gold Coast Panache Magazine.
· Make-up and training package from Evolve Make-up.
· Hair consultancy and services from Marcus Edward Hair Salons.
· Inclusion as a model on selected Gold Coast Fashion Week 2009 shows.
· A selection of wardrobe, accessories and prizes from various GCFW 2009 designers and partners.

Prominent Gold Coast model agency, Division Model Management, is the “Official Model Agency” for Gold Coast Fashion Week 2009. Anyone interested in entering can download the application form by going to either the Gold Coast Fashion Week or Division Model Management websites.
