Poznan to host leather goods fair from March 9

From 9th March till 11th March in Poznan on the grounds of Poznan International Fair will be held the most important fair for leather goods industrie.

For the first time fair will be two theme areas separated:
• Trend – the place for the presentation of the most recent collections of footwear, leather apparel and accessories
• Tech – the space focused on the presentation of leather, footwear and leather craft components and accessories, as well as machinery and technology for the footwear and leather apparel industry.

There will be nearly 200 brands presented at the BTS Fair by exhibitors from 15 countries, among others, from Poland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Sweden, the Netherlands, Czech and Hungary.

New formula
As market research shows, the best results are currently achieved by the companies that decided to promote their own brand. In the present economic situation, it is the brand supported by the high quality and reasonable price that determines the product's popularity among consumers. Due to the reduction of the imports of cheap shoes from Asia, there is a growing interest in the Polish footwear.

The March edition of the BTS Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods will surely provide plenty information on the condition of the footwear and leather apparel industry. For the first time, the fair will be held on a different date than the textiles and clothing industry fair. This change is a result of accumulation of various fair events of the footwear and leather apparel industry in the entire Europe. Thanks to the change of the dates, manufacturers, importers and traders will be able to participate both in the Poznan fair and numerous international industry events. The BTS Fair gained a new image, new location and design. Within the scope of the BTS Fair located in Pavilions 3 and 3A, there will be two theme areas separated:

Trend – The place for the presentation of the most recent collections of footwear, leather apparel and accessories for the autumn-winter 2009/2010 season, as well as updates of collections for the spring-summer 2009 season. Tech – The space focused on the presentation of leather, footwear and leather craft components and accessories, as well as machinery and technology for the footwear and leather apparel industry.

Interesting trainings – trends and methods of effective sales
The most recent collections of footwear, leather apparel and accessories will be presented during the Fashion&Time shows held every day on the catwalk in Pavilion 3A and during lectures prepared by experts. Lucio Righetto will be a special guest of the March BTS Fair. This Italian stylist and footwear designer, who cooperates with such footwear groups as: Bata, Merell, Stonefly, Dr Scholl, Volverine, But-S, will again visit the fair at the invitation of the “Swiat Butów” magazine and the M. B. Market Ltd Company. During two seminars: on 9th and 10th March, at 12 am, in Pavilion 3 – speaker's corner, Lucio Righetto will present trends in footwear for the autumn-winter 2009/2010 and spring-summer 2010 seasons. His presentation of tendencies in design, colours and materials will be supplemented by marketing analysis of designs from the collections of well-known European brands. Samples of the best Italian leather for footwear production will be presented during the seminars as well.
