'Rainwear should be fashionable and fun' - StyleWest

During the recent Grammy's week on the West Coast and New York Fashion Week on the East Coast, StyleWest's dav line of fashion-forward rainwear made every step of the red carpet events warm, dry and comfortable for celebs and VIPs.
During the Grammy's festivities, "The stars were impressed by the high style and comfort that dav rainwear offers and eagerly replaced their high heels and soaked leather boots with our boots," said Dave Sengstaken, president and founder of StyleWest.
Celebs who grabbed dav to protect themselves from the elements included Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry, Jason Mraz, Kate Beckinsale, Estelle, Boyz II Men, Wayne Brady, Sheila E., George Clinton, Tia Carrere, Taylor Swift and Kathy Griffin. Sengstaken added, "At New York Fashion Week, our dav umbrellas were a bright spot amidst gloomy skies and damp weather." dav greeted and escorted celebs including Kanye West, Julia Stiles and Mary J. Blige.
dav fills a need in the current rainwear market and includes a high-fashion offering that is comfortable, hip and sophisticated. "Retailers are excited by the bright and fun original prints and fashion-forward silhouettes," Sengstaken offered. "Each pair of our boots has a matching handbag and umbrella for a hip, pulled-together look--even in a downpour. Rainwear should be fashionable and fun."
With an affordable price point, sales have been strong for the new brand and are expected to double by the close of 2009. "We are focused on innovation, better distribution, and prices that allow our fans to easily own many pairs in their favorite styles and colors," added Sengstaken.
