Akshaya Trithiya, the third day of the bright half of Vaishakh, is considered one of the most sacred days of the year by Hindus and is also celebrated as the birthday of Parshurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The name has reference to the inexhaustible food bowl, (Akshaya Pathram) that had been given to Draupadi by Lord Krishna, with the help of which she was able to serve food to the Pandavas and their entourage, during their exile in the forest.

The word 'Akshaya' means, that which never diminishes, and hence it is considered a very significant day to embark upon new beginnings. No wonder, it is the most auspicious occasion to purchase diamonds to bring luck, prosperity and enhanced value. Nirvana Diamonds are meant for the evolved Indian woman who continues to celebrate and respect this auspicious day, invests in diamonds as a custom but seeks modern and trendy designs.

Nirvana has an array of diamond jewellery for the contemporary as well as for the traditional Indian woman, to indulge and invest! On this special day, revive your wedding vows and invest in Nirvana's Tanmaniyas, styled with one or two strings of black beads and a diamond pendant in intricate designs.

For the elegant look, Nirvana's Misaki Collection is the ideal choice with flash of diamonds and the quiet beauty of the pearls, blending together to give you energy, power and beauty. Set in gold, this exquisite range is sure to win everyone's heart.
