Ocean Fiesta, new zone at Hong Kong Fashion Week
May '09
When Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2010 opens at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on 6 July 2009, it will offer buyers a fantastic spread of the very latest in garments and accessories. At the 2008 fair, there were 1,154 exhibitors from 21 countries & regions - an amazing range of choice. Over 17,400 buyers from 87 countries & regions took advantage of the opportunity to gain a competitive edge.

This new product zone presents swimsuits, bikinis and swimming trunks but also related items including wetsuits, the ever-popular board shorts, waterskiing suits, beach apparel, even flipflops. These have always been part of Fashion Week but they are now centralised in one zone with an expanded product range.

Again, this zone simply makes it easier for specialist buyers to zero in. You will be able to fulfil your requirements for bodysuits, brassieres, men's undergarments, nightwear/pyjamas, panties/slips and girdles in one place.

You will come to this upmarket area to see top-of-the-line brand names in quality fashion present their newest collections.

Other Specialised Sectors
• Fabrics & Yarns - this zone brings together a variety of cotton, embroidery, functional fabrics, knitted fabrics, linen, ramie, lingerie fabrics, man-made fabrics, silk and wool.
• Infant & Children's Wear - the sector that brings you the latest looks in baby, toddler and children's wear that are functional, safe and fashionable.
• Garment & Accessories Mart - this is the beating heart of Fashion Week for many buyers, with a multitude of trendy, value-for-money options.
• Fashion Gallery - a favourite sourcing ground with buyers who seek creative fashion with individuality and a fresh, young appeal as well as the chance to interact directly with designers.
• Bridal & Evening Wear - all the glamour which is the froth of fashion is found in this sector.
• International Fashion Designers' Showcase - this is a unique gathering of designers who have something special to offer.
