The American way: Hanes brand on course for success!

May '09
With its new Club Wear collection for men and the TasTy range for women, in 2009 Hanes is once again launching major new trends in the fashion industry. Innovations like these have steadily increased the popularity of Hanes over more than a century and ensured the brand's long-term expansion. What a success story!

Dynamic from the word go – in 1901
Hanes has grown continuously ever since it was founded in 1901 in North Carolina, USA. Nowadays, more than 88% of US citizens buy garments made by Hanes. What's more, the company has also been at home in Europe for more than 25 years, where it distributes its own independent European collections. With its European headquarters in Aachen (Germany) and a central distribution warehouse in Ghent (Belgium), Hanes has become one of the leading corporations on the European market for printable textiles and promotional clothing.

Milestones of fashion history: the Hanes product range
Hanes offers the industry several different collections of printable T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, pullovers, shirts and blouses perfectly tailored to the taste of fashion-conscious customers. These days, the company is one of the world's leading fashion brands. Milestones in its history naturally include the launch of the Beefy-T in 1975 – which to this day remains the most accessible, most-produced T-shirt in the world! Hanes also became a trendsetter some years ago by being one of the first manufacturers on the market to offer a children's collection of any description.

Quality never goes out of fashion: good reasons for Hanes
According to a customer survey, quality is the main reason why customers opt for Hanes. Mind you, there is also a string of other factors in favour of Hanes such as its fresh designs, the variety of collections, and the wide range of colours. All in all, it amounts to maximum individuality for customers, since everybody can get exactly what they're looking for. Hanes' new advertising slogan truly hits the nail on the head: 'All you need!'
