Nuance group appoints Andrea Belardini as CEO for Europe

The Nuance Group is pleased to announce that Andrea Belardini will be joining the company in the function of CEO Europe as of July 1, 2009. Belardini is joining Nuance from Aeroporti di Roma (ADR), where he currently holds the position of Executive Vice President Commercial. He succeeds Jean-Paul Bonnel, who left the company earlier this month, and will be directly reporting to Roberto Graziani, President & CEO of The Nuance Group.

Andrea Belardini has been responsible for ADR's Commercial Business since 2004 and in this role achieved a material improvement of both the directly managed and the concession retail business. He joined ADR in 2000 as Executive Vice President Strategy and Development. His experience with ADR includes, among others, five years as managing director of ADR International Airports South Africa and board member of Airports Company South Africa. Prior to this, after his studies in Business and Finance, he spent nine years in the Accor Group's Carlson Wagonlit Travel division.

Roberto Graziani, President & CEO of The Nuance Group, is pleased to welcome Andrea Belardini to his executive management team. “In Andrea Belardini we have found an executive with the requisite experience in travel retail and the necessary skills to successfully lead the European organisation through the challenges our business presents,” Graziani explained. “He will be a valuable addition to our management team and, thanks to his previous experience, will be able to become operative from day one.
