'Big Secret's' jewels brilliantly capture diva's love for life

Carrera Y Carrera, the world renowned Spanish jewellery house offers its 'Big Secret' - a selection of the most bewitching pieces from its 2007 collection comprising the Ava, Sol Y Sombra and Te Quiero collections designed in tribute of Ava Gardner, the legendary Hollywood actress.

A tantalising trio
Each of the Big Secret's' lines brilliantly reflect Gardner's life and times in Spain. The Ava collection is a tribute to her sculpted beauty and ivory skin that conjures up the sparkling nights she spent in Madrid clad in gold lace, silk and diamonds. Its pieces are sensual, opulent, proud, yet delicate and full of life. It includes a show-stopping necklace in yellow and white gold with diamonds designed in crescent shape that suspends a circular pendant. While pave diamonds neatly line the white gold arch, delicate floral patterns adorn the yellow gold.
It's fittingly matched by reversible hoop earrings, one in white gold and the other in yellow gold as also a bracelet in the same design.
