London based Molly Grad becomes Head Designer of Gottex

Molly Grad has been appointed Head of Design for Gottex, effective June 14th succeeding Gideon Oberson.
Grad, a London based designer, has previously worked at Stella McCartney, YSL and most recently, as Senior designer at Gianfranco Ferre.
She is a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, for both her BA and MA degrees.
Grad's first Gottex collection will be Spring 2010, which will debut at New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week this September. She will report to Kathy Van Ness EVP/CMO of SEA Group.
"I am honored by the opportunity to be a part if the creative vision for the Gottex heritage and brand", said Grad.
"We are excited about Molly's vision for the brand. She has an amazing design perspective and we welcome her to the Gottex team. We wish her much success in her new role", said Kathy Van Ness EVP/CMO of SEA Group.
SEA, Swim Experts Alliance, corporate group consists of two companies: Gottex Models Ltd., based in Israel and Christina America Inc., based in Montreal. SEA is a leading manufacturer of ladies swimsuits and beachwear.
