Sampling of brands signed on to show at CLASS@ASR

With almost three months until CLASS@ASR debuts, over 75 brands have signed on to present spring collections at the first of its kind trade show. The growing list of labels to show at the exclusive event includes a mix of emerging and core crossover fashion, footwear, accessory and designer swim brands. CLASS@ASR stages September 10-12, 2009 in San Diego, CA adjacent to ASR, the leading action sports trade show, at the San Diego Convention Center.

“Between CLASS@ASR and ASR, a wide range of buyers' needs will be fully met in one convenient location,” says Andy Tompkins, ASR Group Show Director. “Brands are embracing the concept, quickly seeing the benefits of an extended retail reach along with an environment fitting to their lines.”

Embracing the CLASS@ASR concept are boutique labels that have potential to crossover into core action sports accounts, brands with surf, skate or snow roots designed for fashion forward consumers and higher end, limited edition lines from established action sports brands.

“CLASS@ASR provides a level platform through its simplistic and economical approach,” says Frank Delgadillo, Owner of Comune. “This stripped down format for exhibitors enables lifestyle brands to get back to the basics and focus on the fundamental relationship with the retail buyer amongst like-minded colleagues in a contemporary setting.”

Buyers from around the world and across the retail spectrum will be able to do months worth of business in only 3-days. The combination of emerging labels featured at CLASS@ASR and the comprehensive surf, skate, snow and swim collections at ASR create an unrivaled buying event.
