Travelers making their way through Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) can now purchase stylish timepieces from one of the hottest names in watches, jewelry and accessories. BAA Pittsburgh, developer of the award-winning AIRMALL at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), is pleased to welcome Swatch (474 sq. ft.), located in the center core of the airside terminal. The new store opened on June 26, 2009.

"This latest offering at the AIRMALL at PIT is sure to delight travelers looking for a new timepiece or the latest in fashion accessories, not to mention a great source for a range of stylish and unique gifts," said Jay Kruisselbrink, vice president of development for BAA Pittsburgh. "In keeping with the AIRMALL promise, Swatch will offer its watches, jewelry and accessories all at 'Regular Mall Prices...Guaranteed.'"

Swatch first entered the fashion spotlight in the 1980s, becoming well-known for its colorful, collectible plastic watches. Since then, Swatch has expanded the brand to include women's fashion jewelry and sophisticated dress watches for men and women in stainless steel and leather, all made with Swiss time-keeping technology.

BAA Pittsburgh, Inc. is the developer and manager of the retail and concessions program at the AIRMALL at Pittsburgh International Airport. BAA Pittsburgh is a project of BAA USA, the master developer and manager of the retail, food and beverage operations at the AIRMALLs at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport (Terminals B and E). BAA USA is an affiliate of BAA Limited, the world's leading airport company, which owns and operates seven UK airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow).
