Fashion fairs in Poland to come with new exhibition standards

The most comprehensive fashion fairs in Poland will take place in Poznan at the International Trade Fairs in the beginning of September (2–4 September 2009).

”Having in mind all the fairs participants we have introduced several important changes with regard to the organization of events for the clothing and textile industry. We stake on new exhibition standards, a special match-making program for exhibitors and visitors and a promotional & advertising support for our business partners. In the autumn a new event for traders interested in the latest collections will have its premier – the Fast Fashion Exhibition, and also the Tex-Style Fairs, Next Season Contracting and Body Style will change their formula. In September we expect exhibitors showing over 350 brands of clothes, shoes and accessories,” says Malgorzata Nowak-Sowinska, the Fair Manager.

The September fairs will focus on such values as effectiveness of business meetings and gaining knowledge of fashion trends and brand management. The exhibition scene will undergo a subtle makeover, which will enable the exhibitors to pursue their business goals more effectively and will make the trade offer more approachable for the traders. A new feature of the Next Season, Body Style and Fast Fashion Exhibition scene are the “Relaxation zones” arranged in two different styles –„Coffee & milk” and „Fruity refreshment”. Here, in a relaxed atmosphere, over a cup of aromatic coffee or over a glass of refreshing juice, trades invited to the fairs can be met.

Traders and the exhibitors will have an opportunity to arrange a get-together and this even before the fairs begin, via an on-line form in the exhibitors folder that is available on the website of every individual fair. Traditionally, during the fairs the best products will be awarded with the Poznan ITF Gold Medal and the best Polish fashion websites will be announced during the final of the 3rd edition of the Fashion Website Awards. This contest, organized by Promedia publishing house, is addressed to manufacturers, importers, trading companies and, for the first time, to designers. The prerequisite of taking part in the contest is running a business on the Polish market and having a website in Polish.

TEX – STYLE Trade Fair of Fabrics, Clothing and Accessories
– everything you need for clothes production
The idea of professional business meetings for companies offering components for clothes production is getting some definite shapes. The September Tex-Style fair will be focused on articles for clothes production such as: woven fabrics, knitwear, non-woven fabrics, haberdashery goods, tailor accessories, mannequins and store displays as well as special computer software. All the changes are reflected in the new fair's name: TEX – STYLE Trade Fair of Fabrics, Clothing and Accessories. The exhibition will be located next to the premier event called FAST FASHION Exhibition. Within the September Tex-Style fair there will be also several exhibitions of international manufacturers and importers of fabrics and ready-made products from China, Turkey and other countries.
