Fashion Pakistan collaborates with Triple-E to host Karachi Fashion Week

Fashion Pakistan, in collaboration with Triple-E, will be hosting Karachi Fashion Week 2009 from October 15 to 18.

This four day event is part of Fashion Pakistan's objectives to encourage, promote and facilitate the development and growth of the fashion industry in Pakistan, make it competitive in the international market, to build on relationships with buyers and foreign designers and to promote investment in the industry.

We will showcase the best of Pakistani fashion. Established designers will share the runway with exciting new and emerging talent in the categories of couture, prêt, menswear and women's wear.

Memorandums of Understanding have been signed with several international fashion institutions and we hope to present the collection of one international designer each day through Fashion Week.

Given the limited number of shows and the huge response from the design community, we are aware that we cannot possibly accommodate everyone. However, we will present no less than eight collections each day and will do our very best to ensure that emerging designers get a fair share of the slots.
