Mad Bomber successfully enforces Bomber Trademark in Federal Court

The Hon. Gerald Bruce Lee, United States District Court Judge entered a Consent Judgment in favor of the plaintiff Mad Bomber Company that confirms Defendants CNF Marketing and Fur Hat World had infringed the Registered Trademarks “Bomber” and “Mad Bomber”.
The judgment also permanently ordered the Defendants to stop selling, offering for sale, advertising or distributing any headwear using the Registered Trademarks, or any colorable imitations thereof, which causes a likelihood of confusion or mistake and; falsely suggesting an affiliation or connection between Plaintiffs and Defendants or their respective products; assisting, aiding or abetting any other person or entity in engaging in or performing any of the activities above.
“We are extremely satisfied with the case outcome that recognizes the validity of our Registered Trademarks and protects them with regard to our products, services and ultimately our customers. For 30 years people have purchased our hats and outerwear based on our reputation and customer service. We will not allow any confusion in the marketplace between our products and lesser copies. This continues to safeguard our name and reputation,” said Brent Reynolds, Chairman and Founder of Mad Bomber Company.
“We are the original creators of the Bomber hat and our consumers expect a high quality product. We need to actively protect the Bomber and Mad Bomber brand and defend our registered trademarks on behalf of our retailers and consumers,” added Scott Stephens, VP of Marketing for Mad Bomber Company.
