PAF organizes induction ceremony at Stein Auditorium

Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), India's leading fashion and design institute organized an induction ceremony at the Stein Auditorium, Indian Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road for their 2009 batch.
The event heralded the beginning of the new semester and over 400 new students, all brimming with aspirations, were inducted formally. By the end of the event, they were all beaming with confidence, ready to emulate the illustrious alumni of Pearl Academy of Fashion who are holding top positions in fashion and design industry today.
As a result of excellent placements this year and good perception among students and parents, this year 20% more students applied for admission to Pearl Academy of Fashion, as compared to last year. The competition for admission in Pear Academy of Fashion is getting tougher with each passing year.
The Academy offers Undergraduate degree programmes in the areas of Fashion Design, Textile Design, Jewellery Design, Communication Design, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Retail Management, Fashion Styling and Image Design and Business Administration. The academy also offers Postgraduate diploma programmes in the areas of Fashion Merchandising, Garment Manufacturing, Fashion Retail, Fashion Design, Textile Design Home Fashion, Knitwear Design and Fashion Marketing. It also offers several industry orient short term programmes.
During the Induction Programme, the functionaries of the Academy - the Group Director, Director, Academic Advisor, Group Registrar (Academics Administration) Advisor Corporate Relations provided guidance to the new batch. Mr. Vijay Hr Bhalla, Director BE Consulting was also present as a guest from the industry to share his experiences and give them an industry overview. A small Personality Development Programme which was followed by a live band performance from the group World Changers.
Pearl Academy of Fashion which is ranked number one in faculty competence has built an excellent brand perception over the years in the industry. Pearl graduates are held in high esteem in the industry and have found placement in brands like Aryan Lifestyle, BATA, Benetton, Bharat Exports, Blackberry, Conforma, Ebony, Fighter Cock, Future Group, Globus, H G Retail, ITC, J J Valaya, Lal Group (Dubai), Madame, Mandira Virk, Nike, Pearl Global, Satya Paul, Standard Max, Tommy Hilfiger, Vasari, Versace and W etc.
