Trade fair organiser munichfabricstart exhibitions GmbH rates this as an indication that the sector – largely unimpressed by the global crisis – looks to the future and continues placing its trust in this location and this exhibition format.

41 “new entrants” from 14 nations in the three sections of M,O,C, – Additionals, Collections and Asia Salon – provide new sourcing opportunities. 486 exhibitors form the Collections area in Halls 2 to 4 and in the Atriums. Boasting 158 findings producers, the Additionals area in Halls 1 and 2 is one of the most creative and strongest showcases of this industry worldwide. At Asia Salon in the Atrium above Hall 4, Asian powerhouse brands exhibit their new collections, primarily enterprises from Korea, Hong Kong and China.

A new Showroom area with full-packaging services now complements the known ranges. In a quiet and highend setting ready-to-wear manufacturers can meet internationally experienced service providers such as Lagoon Ltd (HK), N.I. Tejin Shoji Europe (D), H.D. Isler (HK) and It's Organic (D) and discuss full-service concepts with them from the development of collections to handling their production. Commenting on this Robert Malinowski of Lagoon Ltd. said: “So far we have only presented our metre goods – now we can talk about our complete service package with our customers. This is of particular interest to those customers not coming to see us in Hong Kong.”
