FDCl announces New Faces of Tomorrow

Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) announced the names of 32 models who will walk the ramp at the first ever 'Van Heusen India Mens Week' to be held in New Delhi from September 11–13, 2009 at The Grand, New Delhi.

The 32 finalists were shortlisted after a challenging competition from the auditions conducted in New Delhi and Mumbai. Presenting themselves before a renowned jury, these future muses were selected on several attributes, such as their confidence, poise and perfect attitude to walk the runway dressed in the creations of India's finest fashion designers at the 'Van Heusen India Mens Week'.

Declaring the names of the finalists, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “We received an overwhelming response from fresh talent drawn from across the country! Our esteemed jury had a hard task at hand to shortlist the final 32, who will walk the runway at the first ever 'Van Heusen India Mens Week'.Apart from presenting the best from the male modeling industry, 'Van Heusen India Mens Week' will simultaneously promote and support new talent. We are confident that these new and exciting young faces will go a long way!”

The 'Van Heusen India Mens Week' positions India as the 4th Fashion Capital of the World to host an independent Mens Week.
