Downtown Portland will be the center of celebration through the Green Means Go! event, as Tri-met is launching the downtown to Clackamas Town Center max-line.
When: Saturday September 12th, 2009, 4:30 - 5:30 pm
As this brings more economic vitality to downtown, Tri-Met & PFW are celebrating the occurrence with the Green Means Go event through a day-long festivity in the Pioneer Square which will include installation fashion shows by high-end retailers in downtown and other forces that strengthen Portland economy like Portland Fashion Week. Models showcasing Portland Fashion Week designers will be taking center stage from 2:30 To 3:30 pm at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Prasenjit Tito Chowdhury, Executive Producer of Portland Fashion Week says "PFW Productions invites everybody to join us in this celebration of fashion, as Portland Fashion Week is being recognized as a major entity that brings economic vitality to downtown Portland."
To celebrate the Opening of MAX's new GREEN LINE, Portland Fashion Week and a select group of its 2009 Designers will join a power-packed lineup of fashion labels and retailers for an installation fashion show during the main event at Pioneer CourthouseSquare.
TriMet's newest light rail line, MAX Green Line, will soon carry riders from Clackamas Town Center to Portland City Center in 39 minutes.
