Fightercock collection marries formal with informal

Fightercock by Abhishek Gupta and Nandita Basu is recognized for its distinctive language and style. The label articulates the language of youth in an edgy fashion, which is always distinct and special.
For the upcoming Van Heusen Menswear Fashion Week- September 09, Fightercock presents a collection that marries the formal with the informal to create a collection that is out of the box, yet uniquely Fightercock.
As always, the brand uses its trademark style of strong graphics to illustrate its ensembles.
The new collection comes alive with imagery derived from stylistic elements found in the posters of the 1960's. These are seamlessly combined with various vintage emblems, totally Indian icons and special Indian references.
The men are tagged out in permutations and combinations of formal jackets, shirts, t-shirts and jeans.
The clothes come alive with a spectrum of colors which include rich plum, luxurious chocolate brown, a deep black, a special bottle green and prussian blue. The colors are masculine yet different and they blend together to elevate the looks completely.
The versatile duo, as always use a wide array of fabrics to make their creations come to life. Velvets, wools, canvas, silks, denims, cottons and jersey find space in the men's wear collection by Fightercock. The amalgamation of different materials is a special touch that Fightercock displays with complete mastery and balance.
The collection makes use of different textures and techniques including quilting, threadwork and even embroidery.
