Geneva Fashion Fair debuts 6th, 7th, and 8th of November 2009, in International Conference Centre of Geneva (ICCG), will enthrall audiences from every corner of the world.

Commanding the catwalk will be 25 sizzling hot models, Miss French Switzerland (Miss Suisse Romande) as a Guest Star, that will work the runway in designs by a host of the around 30 internationally reckoned designers, including Adamah Stein, HC Aku Sika, Jathaba, Jessica B, Liza Evans, Marc Johnson, Meriem Bennani, Reynoir, TB- Tami B. Design.

Inviting more than 3,000 buyers worldwide, the fair is open to the public, and would be studded by brands viz Clozure by Liza Evans, Jathaba Fashion Designs, JBK, Jessica B. Creation, TB Fashion, The House of Esther.

Geneva Fashion Fair 2009 is organized by World Event Association(WEA), a Geneva based non-profit organization specialized in launching, developing and organizing high quality exhibitions, conferences and seminars for different industries.

Believing, 'Fashion is synonym of changes but also of expressing yourself and being who you are”, fashion authority Ms Tania Bonzon continues to preside as the show's director and wows spectators with cutting-edge trends and rare collections of apparel.“Over the years we've seen that fashion really evolved and that it was not as classical as it was. We at Geneva Fashion Fair look for styles that are different and that could fit every individual's personality.” She promises.

Sharing her anticipations on show exclusively with fibre2fashion team, Ms Bonzon describes “GFF is a trade event opened to registered buyers (wholesalers, distributors, agents, & retailers), individual buyers, the press and industry representatives. I think it is a good opportunity to make new business ventures, to be seen and to discover different fashion designers.”

Further, accentuating on the right choice of venue to be significant determinant behind success of such shows, she said “The venue is always crucial and we had many choices, we had to look at all the perks and inconvenient. We chose Geneva because it is in the center of Europe, it is a very international city and since Geneva never hosted this type of event, we thought it would be a good idea.”

Our team raised important point of economic downturn; she resiliently retorted “It is true that the industry is suffering from a crisis but it is important to still show yourself and your business in times like these because a crisis is only temporary. We believe that being in the Fashion Fair will definitely bring opportunities since it is very international and exposure is a must, especially during a crisis.”

Amidst stringent measures on decorum and security, and vigorous ad campaigns, Designers & Fashionistas across the country will find out what's hip, what's hot and what's now when the vibrant fashion show hits the city!
